Books and Dishes

It’s taken me six months to finish a book. In reality, totally it only took me nearly two weeks, but I split that time over a six months period. I’ve been busy. It was a very lively summer. You can also count the book ‘Good Time Girls’ I read for recent job exploration, and I’ve almost finished the audio book ‘The Time Traveler’s Wife’. Which I hear this is about to be released as a movie? I miss the outside world. Anyways, I just finished 'We the Living'. I adore Ayn Rand.

There is only one thing that matters and that we'll remember. The rest doesn't matter. I don't care what life is to be nor what it does to us. But it won't break us. Neither you nor me. That's our only weapon. That's the only banner we can hold against all those others around us. That's all we have to know about the future.

I just ordered a few books on Thailand, Cambodia, and Laos, and ‘Canoes Trails of the Deep South’ for Buck. I also ordered the audio book‘Anthem’ and am going pick up ‘The Romantic Manifesto’. Here we go objectivism.

I still really want fire king jadite dishes. I suppose I need a kitchen first? Alas, that may be an issue. But window shopping via the internet screen is always enjoyable. What did we do before the internet? Lets pin a boutonniere to your coat and really window shop...
