Bangkok Weather

Wednesday: Jan. 14th. Bangkok
Fair   90°/72°   Precip: 5%

Sounds wonderful! I'm ready for some Vitman D, and sunshine. I say this as I look out the window at the snow packed on my car. I actually got out of the house today and braved the cold air. As I ran into the department store I was taken back by a huge line of people scrambling around a huge table of unfolded shirts. What could it be? As I strolled over I started to remember: football in the south is a relgion. They were buying National Championship shirts. Roll Tide Roll.

On a side note, I leave for Thailand in 3 days! That's almost unbelievable. I'm almost completely ready besides the small things like running to the bank and painting my toenails. I have 11 pairs of brand new crisp underwear for the trip. Which means I'll have to wash them at least 6 times while in Thailand for 58 days. Either that or as my mother suggested I could wear them inside out, and that will only be 3 washes. Ew. That's gross. What have I gotten myself into?

  1. i would venture to say, with water quality what it is, plus street food, and buck, that you will end up washing your undies more than six times each. EW. haha... string some rubber bands together, hang them up in a corner of the hostel, (or wherever) and stick corners of your delicates in it to air dry... kinda like a clothes line without the safety pins. ohman i can't wait. are you packing your curling iron?? hahahahaaaaa
